Subject: Is it safe ?

Dear chess friends !
Many of you test differant chess programs days and nights. I just want to ask
you a question- is it safe to leave your computors operating for days ? Today
there was a terrible fire here in Melbourne and the faulty TV caused it. Of
course you turn off the monitors when you away , but what about the unit ? It
has just a small fan. So, can I go to my job and there will not be ANY problem
with my computor ?
