I didn't answer it, having chosen instead to fix the toilets in my house. One of the upstairs toilets was put together wrong by the previous owner, so I had to bend something and hold it in place with a wire. The toilet in my office ran constantly, which was due to a chain being too long. The other one on the main floor was cobbled together with a rusty safety pin, I replaced this with a piece of galvanized wire, which is not a great solution but it should work for the foreseeable future. The other one upstairs seems to work, but I'm keeping a close eye on it, and I'll slap it down if it starts to get bitchy. My point is that not everyone has time to answer every good post. Please don't become frustrated because of this. Some posts sink like a rock, it happens to everyone. bruce
