I have been playing AnMon 5.0 the last couple of days, mainly at short time
controls of 2 1 and 2 2 or 3 0, and a few games in the range of 5 1. Anyway, the
program currently has a rating of 2662 bullet and 2758 blitz, and seems to have
a positive score even against dual processor Craftys, namely Data (16.18) and
Mundilfari (16.19), both in the dual 400 megahertz range. I watched it beat
Talmoves twice last night at 5 3.

At least at shorter time controls (which is all that I've played with it), the
program seems strong.

My machine is a PII 350 with 256 megs RAM. No endgame tablebases, though AnMon
does use them if available.

If anyone is interested, bunches of games against Data are in my library on ICC.
I also have some of the games archived as .pgn on my system through Winboard.
