Hello Andrew,

I guess I am not the only nut up at this NY hour <s>.  Yes it is 3:00am <s> and
you must be a bit (excuse the pun) sleepy. Just kidding.  No the 0100 only
involves the description of the piece at the particular square position.  ie the
0100 which appears say on the 7th square is represented by the following method:
 The first bit (0) tells us it is a black piece and the next three bits is the
rook which according to my key is equal to a "4".  Therefore on square 7 we have
a black rook.  What you need to keep in mind is that each line of binary
represents 1 square of the chess board.  Thanks so much for the quick response
and let me know if yo have any other questions or comments.  Would love to hear
them.  Time for me to get some sleep. See you hopefully tomorrow.
