Subject: I have a P-III 450MHz Computer.Does that mean a better chess program?

When I was browsing through different computer chess ratings, I noticed
that processor strength is always accounted for. Example, Chessmaster
at P-II 200 MHz or K-6 Processors. Because of this reason I wondered,
My Chessmaster uses a 450 P-III Processor, does that mean that its performance
is better? If so, what about all those posted personalities in the
program, chessmaster, that have specific ratings to them like 1886 and
so forth ,is it not reliable then? (in consideration of the processor.)

Thanks!

Gerard
