Dear Guys, The source code I posted on CCC was a pseudo code except when I said that it was an extraction of my chess program. That is why I had the: "if (score>beta)" and "score = -AlphaBeta(-depth,-beta,-alpha)" mistakes. Thank you for being patient helping me! I hate hearing from you telling me that I must know what I type on my chess program (like "I am mixing code from many engines"). OF COURSE I must know what I am writing, and that is why I ask you for some help. I can write a great engine without knowing how MIN-MAX works, but that is not my idea. I want to aclare you that I am writing a "chess engine" with your help in order to know exactly how to rewrite my original engine without asking you how Alpha Beta works. My actual proyect is to write a simple two 64 arrays board representation engine with help. And after I finish step 1, I will do a single 64 array board representation board engine without seeing any source and pseudo code until I finish the honest "UruChess 0.01"(I promise that a UruChess 1.00 will be stronger than 2500 elo and I know it is a extremly difficult achivement). I think that doing a CHESS ENGINE with help and later other CHESS ENGINE without help (for example: with different board representation) is better than starting your first engine alone as Jose Carlos does(with all respect). Can anybody answer this question: What is faster a single 64 array for piece and color or two 64 arrays for Board Representation? I think one single array is slower at the genertor and faster at the hash tables, I am correct? Please write anything you think about this message. I am waiting special comments from Bob Hyatt, Michel Chassey, Carlos Julio, Jeroen, Tom Kerrigan, Antonio Dieguez and all guys that want!!!!!!!! Thanks
