I haven't used WinBoard for a long time, but it seemed that it was *easier* to make it work with a DOS program, meaning one that simply reads and writes from and to the console. If you stick with it you'll get games at reasonable time controls. You aren't going to get many at long standard time controls, but you can certainly get games at 2 12 and 5 0 and other same time controls, you don't have to only play bullet. You can use seeks and sshouts and talk to people. bruce
