In some situations where move ordering goes bonkers it helps a lot, and you still get the PVS speedup in normal situations. How do you detect whether AB or PVS is better? For Sjeng, I check how good the move ordering has been up untill now, and if it's been "reasonable", use PVS. -- GCP
