I apologize if you've already done this, but try taking these problems to the
"Rebel Bulletin Board" (address & link is on the CD).

I've seen many prompt solutions to these type of problems, from Ed & his team,
there. They have the knowledge & are very helpful.  It's usually in the
parameters of the windows shortcut.

One method that helped me with a Rebel lockup problem was to add "V" (non-vesa)
to my shortcut.  I don't know why, but that solved my problem and also let me
toggle away from Rebel when I wanted to.
