I am reminded of Ernst Heinz's comment at the players meeting when he said he thought you were seeded much too low! Would it be possible for you to give a brief overview of the approach you are taking in your engine? (Without giving away any important secrets of course) From memory your engine is using null-move pruning, and isn't what could be called a fast searcher. Do you think you are doing anything significantly different from the other engines? Or is your success mainly due to a very good engineering and tuning? cheers, Peter
