It is a slightly modified version of MacChess. Wim has decided to pursue
other interests than chess programming. This is what he has told me:

========= from Wim Van Beusekom =============================================

I have promise the people of the computer chess club to
participate with the Dutch open computer chess championship of this Year.
The name of MacChess will be changed into TOBBER again. So it will end with
the same name as it begun."

>Are you still planning to play in the Dutch Championship?

Yes, i have signed me in for it. It will be held in the weekends of 30/31
October and 6/7 November.

>Have you found someone willing to provide a 500 MHz G4 system for this?

No. At the moment i can get a 7500 with a 233 MHz 604e and perhaps an new
iBook. It is not important because i playing for the fun. I did not much on
my program this Year. I call it now "McTobber99".
At the moment i finished just an "Hash Opening Book Maker" that can
assemble an opening book with hash keys from PGN files.

Thanks for the information and best regards,

Wim.
