There was also a very bad 'stretch' during that period from my perspective.  I
added a lot of new code, then got sidetracked... Crafty dropped from about 3200
to 2850 before I had time to correct things.  It was doing ok vs humans for
the most part, but lost nearly every game vs computers...

It has done much better over the past month, I got +9 -4 if I counted right
over the last 2 weeks.  The two weeks prior to that had lots of debugging for
the new majority stuff...

Of course, as I said, when Crafty plays well, he could have bugs, so I don't
put a lot of faith in those results...  I've not been terribly unhappy about
Crafty, except for the last week+ where I made a few final changes to the eval
and then didn't feel up to studying the results, other than to note it was not
doing real well.
