>I Decided to try out ICC and see if id pay to play, I was playing things seemed >ok and then I was booted in the middle of a game, I logg back on and this >wonderful peron doesnt want to finnish, so ok I seek a game and it automatically >rechallenges him and i get declined , fine with me someone else plays me. this >went on day after day he seemed to be on everytime i was there I Tried talking >to him to finnish and no reply , I'd seek a game and it of course would >auto-challenge this guy and hed of course (auto-decline?) I decided since i am >up 2 pawns I may as well get this game adjudicated,I had waited over 5 days. >They told me that i needed to wait atleast a week so i did i waited 11 days >total and sent request again, they message me back saying he has until the >28th?? (WHAT THE HECK?) mean while i was getting driven MAD with him declining >every time i wanted to seek a game.(atleast if that stopped It would be >bairable) i don't understand this complaint. sticking to the bare facts this was what happened: player A is playing player B. player A has a 2-pawn advantage. player A gets disconnected. player A seeks adjudication after 11 days. "Adjudicate" warns player B to resume the game within 7 days and then messages player A to follow-up with him should player B still not resume. take note that "adjudicate" acts on all requests on the same day they were requested. The fact that he gave player B 7 days to resume should not be interpreted as inaction. Actually, the computer-chess club is not the proper forum for airing complaints of this nature. Anybody who is not satisfied with adjudication results is invited to message Lateknight at lateknight@chessclub.com or talk to him online. He is the partner-in-charge of online activities and he is always glad to listen to constructive criticism and/or suggestions. ROBERTOPEANG Head Adjudicator, ICC
