I remember the manual of my old Colossus Chess X told that the program learns from the games it plays. I'd like to hear more about this. When was the idea about learning found? Which programs use learning? And what kind of learning? Is it only counting which openings lead to which results? Has anyone tried something else too? (With or without success.) Jari
