The way chessprograms are made, with nullmoves, hashing etc. they sometimes miss good moves even if they in 99,9% of the positions play better. You may have met one of the positions where the programs goes wrong. Its a fair chance that another engine, read program, do not fail in the same position. Anyway it was only a suggestion...... Perhaps you could post the game and the position and other Fritz users can check if they get the same strange result. Torstein
