IIRC, the patch you mention (SP3) is only about 35MB.  I think it's possible to
install it without downloading the entire thing, also.  (I may be confusing with
WinNT service packs here...) There should be an option just to download an
installer, and have it automatically download only the needed parts for your
installation, which will be much smaller than the full amount.
