I used HIARCS 7.0 on a "Classic" iMac (233 MHz) and it was no trouble at all.
I just inserted the CD-ROM into the iMac, dragged the HIARCS files onto the hard
drive and double-clicked on the HIARCS application. No problem.

While HIARCS 7.0 is the strongest chess program currently available for the
iMac,
note that there are also lots of other chess programs for the iMac. For an index
