This one didn't remind me of any of them in particular. There are some basic things in it that are common to all chess programs (how to represent the board, how to assess a position, et cetera.) It didn't seem at all like these parts were shamelessly cut and pasted from somebody else's code. It is rather unusual for me to see code that is all Spanish, except for the language keywords, but kind of neat. It made me think of the possibility that one day compilers will accept different keywords depending on the language you speak. Then we'll really be in for it! ;-) If anyone has some specific code they would like me to compare it against, please send it by email before Monday. After that, I'll delete Jose's code, and assume nobody's got anything to back their claim up with. Dave
