Just before the excerpt that you quote, there is the following:

So it isn't like GK is blaming the world for using a computer (if they did).  He
seems to be taking the use of computers in correspondence games for granted.  I
find this, and his use of other human analysts, somewhat disappointing, but that
is the way chess is today.  Of course, if he was wrong about what computer the
World was using (I believe Bruce Moreland's denial), then he may have been wrong
about them using a computer at all.

Also, he mentions the key mistakes in the ending, Black's 51st and 58th moves,
but doesn't reconcile this with his theory of a computer being used in the
ending.
