Bear in mind that Diamond II is an upgrade of >Diamond. >Luis The computer I purchased is the "Diamond 1". I have it on all the highest settings except for level 8 tournament, which I find takes too long to move. Another poster pointed out the ssdf ratings for several Novag models and I'm pretty sure that mine is #104 on the list with a rating of 2090. This of course is almost 300 points lower than the advertised action rating of 2383 stated by the CRA.(computer rating agency). I suppose it's likely that there could be a 300 point gap between G/30 and 40/2 but I assumed that a difference like that would only be seen in blitz versus 40/20. In all fairness to the Diamond though, once I played it for a while and got to know its weaknesses, my results improved alot. I also have "Rebel decade 2.0" on my pc (a 166MMX 32 Mb. ram) and it mops the floor with the Diamond time after time regardless of levels. Regards, Peter
