I figure that I am the Larry T you allude too. I am have gone for the Rebel Century mainly for the many new features, but mostly for the very comprenhensive & updated opening books. I'm waiting for Fritz6. At 1st I was going to just get an upgrade to F5.32, but then I thought a little more about it, and figured, 'For $10 bucks more, what the heck', so I asked Bert over there at Gambit-Soft to send me the full version when it becomes availble. And yes, it looks from what I see at the Chess Base page a very desirable upgrade for us chess adicts! I've thought about the Millaneum Chess Genius 6.5 (with Shredder & Nimzo), in there, but that extra $50 or so dollars is just too much right now, but it is very tempting. And then there is all those upcoming Chess Assistant programs, especially the one that will have all those Tal Games, anotated by GM's. Also the ever present need to get all new Chess Base Magazine & Extra issues coming along. Oh, and that 'Chess Bits' CD/magazine - So desirable. Not to forget the subscription service of 'ChessPublishing.com' at TWIC. Then there is still the need to get the complete package of Chess Academy. Oh, and the many new chess books that come out. If only I had some serious money to spend. Cloths - who needs new cloths? Girlfriends - Who need them? (they have to be wined, dined, & catered too, & then they leave you anyway! Roof over the head? Well there's still Mom. Am I nuts? Sadly yes, but what the hell, nuts, but not shooting anybody, ever...
