Disregarding the Nimzo 2000 WB Engine seems a little bit harsh to me. While it
is true that the original Winboard Engine that was shipped with the Nimzo 2000
stand alone version is not as good as the stand alone one, I do not agree with
your "of course...". The WB Version is stronger than all of the progs you were
listing above. I do not want to prove this statement with statistical material
but invite you prove the opposite.
There have been 2 upgrades of the WB engine meanwhile, which unfortunately were
not made available for the public until now. I heard that with the new Shredder
4.0 a new WB version of Nimzo will be accompanied.
There is a Winboard version of Nimzo 7.32 playing on the ICC (handle 'Varguz')
which is is among the best computer progs there. This version is an experimental
version for our members of the Nimzo-Werkststatt an is not available for public.
I do not know of any Winboard engine that is nearly as strong in playing
strength (Crafty with his superior quad Xeon is an exception) as this version.
OF COURSE you are invited to play Varguz on the ICC with any Winboard version
you like to prove me wrong.

Greetings
Alex
