Hallo! Rebel always search in the book a short time after each move, if you are able to run it with smartdrv in normal dos it isn´t any problem. You don´t need to load smartdrv.exe in config.sys, just write (at the Dos-prompt) smartdrv 8192 (for biggest smartdrv possible) and the Rebel stops searching from the harddrive. If you are short of memory try smartdrv 1012 or 2048 (1 or 2mb). Bertil SSDF
