The engine in Fritz 6 is not necesarily the same as Quest. Quest is the latest "experimental" version. These engines are constantly being updated and (hopefully) improved. 2. The "Best" is tricky. Statistically you need thousands of uncorrupted (no doubles, no autoplayer troubles etc etc) games to decide best. In the Swedish Rating list, the difference between the top programs in each computer-speed group is far less than the statistical variances of the programs. 3. Now with "personalities" and engine tweakability the strength of top engines is even more debatable. eg. CM6k is top of the P200 section of the Swedish list, but where would CM6666 be? Statistically people think it would be better, but we don't know. see you guys, Tina
