This time control is now being used for several years in the dutch open.

Hmm, I was operating Chess Tiger and of course I saw it ranked higher
before the tournament started. But in tournaments like this everything
can happen and you need a little bit of luck. Tiger played too many
draws (from good positions) and The King lost against ANT because of
a bad opening line.

These are dutch amateur programs. XiniX (which means 'I don't see anything',
as far as I am concerned the wittiest name in the tournament!) had lots
of problems, because the program was not quite finished. This lead to
serval crashes.
