Last night I connected Averno in Chess.net for the first time (Avernox account). It played mostly against humans, and these were its numbers: Blitz 2304, Lightning 2395 (machine: PII - 400 24Mb HT). It only played 3 or 4 games aginst other programs, and lost most of them. I'm somewhat confused about these numbers, because my program is quite weak. Can it be only luck? Is there another hidden reason for this result? I expect these ratings to go down in the next days. I'll keep you informed. :) Regards, José C.
