Subject: time management and endgame tablebases

When programming and regulating time management for a program do you take into
account the possible use of endgame tablebases?
Is there a way to use the knowledge / expectation that a program using
tablebases will eventually arrive in a tablebase situation (or in a tb calc) and
assign more time to say middlegame moves?

Just curious.
