I guess it's impossible to please everyone so you have to please yourself.  What
bothers me is that Rebel cannot win a KQKR endgame vs Fritz and Fritz does not
have tablebases either.  I don't consider this strong endgame play,  especially
when Rebel trades into this endgame thinking it is winning.  I guess even
Shredder is sticking to the Ken Thompson databases instead of going to the
superior Nalimov tablebases.  I have spent several hundred dollars on Chess
Programs in the last year and I still can't get what I would like in a program.
As a matter of fact if I put them all into one program I still would not have my
ideal program.  Anyway my pool table is installed now so I think I'll forget
about computer chess for a while and teach my wife how to rack the balls. :-)
