You would develop into frog-eating monkeys instead, which is naturally much
better. :)
When I was in Holland I have been very impressed by the fact that almost
everybody was able to speak english. This openess is probably one of the big
strengths of your country.
I never felt lost when I was travelling in Holland, because I could talk with
(almost) everybody.
From this point of view, french people are very very backward. It's not easy to
find an english-speaking french.
