Looks like I'm alone in liking slow chess for championship matches. Of course, I have never had to go through it. OTOH, I prefer the correspondence pace, and so for me 40/2 is the fastest tolerable. Even at very slow pace, you can still see computers make mistakes. I remember several from KKUP2. The higher the speed, the lower the game quality. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for out of the games themselves.
