I like to not spend a week wanting to be dead.  If we want the highest quality,
we'd run the games all day long and half the night.

The increase in quality is not high enough to justify the increase in torture.

There was a time when perhaps you needed 40/2 in order to avoid pawn forks.
That time is past, we can still get nice games in less time.

And if we just gotta play chess until the restaurants close, at least let's
reduce the time control and increase the number of rounds, so one loss doesn't
send you home.
