What you describe sounds like torture. Some of the teams have more than one author. Some of the teams have an author, and another guy who does some or perhaps most of the operating. Some of the teams don't send the author, and you sit across from someone who may not know how the program works well enough to even operate. My own team is me. I do the engine, the interface, the opening book, the endgame databases, and the chess piece bitmaps that are drawn on the screen. It is absolutely not fun to manually operate at these events. bruce
