And no, there is no money involved. Mr. Russek is my friend since we met as author and publisher. He has authored two chess books in the publishing house that I work on as Foreign Books Manager. Since then, we have had long discussions about computer chess. We decided upon the match against Rebel Century because it is the only program he has never played against. He is a very serious player who has reached a 2435 elo on the January 1998 list and, as a person an author, he has always been a reliable fellow. If he says yes (as he did about ten days ago and yesterday's morning) you can be sure that the match is going to take place. We have to settle a convenient date for each game, because he told me that he is playing on two tournaments (Mérida and Los Angeles) in the following months.
