The program will have a built-in playing and analysis module, and be Winboard compatible (something that people here should be interested in). It looks like the program will really be a combination playing/database/tutorial package, rather than a database/tutorial program. It will be more complete than anything else available today. I have not seen it yet, just worked on the help files. I should be receiving an advance copy in the next couple of weeks. This is cut and pasted from my web page: Chess Academy 2000 News I have been informed by the president of Intelinvest that a new Chess Academy 2000 is on the way. Here is the information I have so far, directly from Intelinvest: 32-bit Windows application for Windows 95/98/2000 and NT4 Powerful chess database program 5.0 with built-in training modes Huge Profi-Database'2000 with about 1.600.000 chess games Interactive tutorial program 5.0 with built-in game editor The most complete collection of annotated examples (25.000+) Built-in analysing engine and strong playing program CHESS BRAIN Huge opening and middlegame books with about 20.000.000 positions http://hometown.aol.com/rjpawlak/ch_widow.html ->databases -> Chess Academy 99.
