I can understand that Ed doesn't want to provide you with any information,
although I think he should tell you that he doesn't want to be associated with
this match.

IMHO, I think a proposal to Ed would have been more appropriate, i.e. IM Russek
challenges Rebel Century to a 6 game match, and I think Ed would have been more
receptive to the idea.

As it is, Ed has no control of the hardware, settings, etc.  so, he has a lot to
lose and nothing to gain.
