Odell is talking about programs being up for sale and some strong programs arent
for sale (yet) and he is using chesstiger/ferret as an example  it seems to me
he is not talking about getting it for free or he wouldnt have said at the
bottom of his post about "or don't they want to make money". So i think you
misunderstood his posting.
