Some clarifications, most of the original post is deleted.

I mentioned "ICC Computer Championship" as a title, only to say that would not
be appropriate if GMs were invited as well. Unless ICC puts up prizes and does
a lot of promotion, the title should be picked in the discussion here.

The level of promotion will depend a lot on which programs play, and if ICC has
a definite schedule several days before the event.

I checked, the ICC tomato program is designed for tournaments played in one
session. The main reason to use tomato was to generate pairings, have an easy
way for operators and observers to know the pairings, standings and games in
progress.

Someone will need to generate the pairings and standings. They could enter the
information in the finger notes of an ICC account, or I could post it as an ICC
help file.

The tournament director does not need to be an ICC admin, but we can probably
get one to volunteer.

The main duty of the ICC admin is to make announcements of the games, and to
keep the kibs in order.

Weekends of December 4, 11, and 18 are possible. But that means we need to get
organized now.

Hastings is January 4-12. Wijk aan Zee is January 14-30. I expect to broadcast
both on ICC, so I won't be available for all of the computer games. We should
be able to get other admins to help. I have no problem with scheduling the
computer tourney during either event.
