My original idea for tomato to do the pairings will not work for a multi day tourney. Someone will have to generate the pairings and standings. That person is subject to the approval of this discussion. All I offer is to post their standings and pairings as ICC finger notes or a help file. >>The tournament director does not need to be an ICC admin, but we can probably >>get one to volunteer. > >Excellent. I prefer a January date. If December is better, let me know. In another post I say Hastings is January 4-12 and Wijk aan Zee is January 14-30. Both might start about 7 AM EST (1200 GMT) while this tournament might start at 10-11 AM EST (1500 - 1600 GMT). This could benefit from those drawn to ICC for those GM tourneys. The ICC broadcast of Hastings and Wijk aan Zee must be my first priority. If this tournament is on the same days, I will do what I can. I am discussing this with other ICC admins. Andy (Zek on ICC)
