Thanks for sharing your impressions. I can definitely second your findings, especially in the case of Nimzo and Rebel . Nimzo 7.32 is an extraordinary program. In my current Millennium Cup (40/120 on two PIII-550), it was the only one so far to beat Tiger 12 (and it happened out of nowhere, neither I nor Tiger saw it coming :). Century, on the other hand, has so far only won against amateur Comet whereas it stood no chance against Nimzo and Tiger. I suppose that Ed optimized it a lot for anti-human play while taking the risk of scoring worse against computers. Still there's a lot of games left, so that quick first impression may be wrong, of course. --- Shep
