As far as I know the only program that oversteps the time limit (occasionally) is the old Fritz3. Maybee in one game of 50 Fritz3 oversteps the time control, usually in a bad position. McPro and Hiarcs can do this but only in totally lost positions. If the second sentence would be true, the programs timers should differ clearly and they don´t. Typical (slow) auto232-move in DOS 3 seconds. Winauto less than one second. Bertil SSDF
