In retrospect, my post may have been provacative, but is this against CCC rules? , Does it insult anyone? The answer is no, Does it provoke thought and debate the answer is yes!!. I would count that as a very good post, although it may have been politically incorrect. I regrett my use of a four letter word, but I am only human, I notice you mention abolutely nothing about the foul insulting, Humiliating words like "you are a fool odell, you are insane, and all the others. Did you honestly think my post deserved such condemnation? Is their any post you can find where I have insulted or belittled anyone? Do I have a reputation in this club, to deserve such malignant disrespect? I notice you said nothing at all about all the slanders against me, but now you feel compelled to attack me when I lose my cool because I am under fire. I guess you think I deserved all the insults correct? If my original post was unclear, don't you think the proper and rational approach to the post would be to ask me to clarify myself instead of the barrage of abuse? I soppose in your I should have silently accept Abused Verbally. Have you asked yourself how you would respond under the same circumstances? By the way I have recieved several private emails from people apologizing for their harshness, although they did not post it here. I have also had a programmer write to privately, expressions his disguest not with my post but the reactions to it, and he gave me his personal reasons why he did not want to sell his program. This made me feel very good and showed me that there is some fairness and rationality out there. Most people only read the title of my post and did not take the time to read the complete context. Yet somehow you want to blame me for defending myself when I am attacked. Yes I was wrong for using the four letter word? But did you read the post that I was responding too??? I guess it is ok for people to insult me, but not ok for me to retaliate? I have come to see that my post made some people with a guilty consiousness feel uncomfortable. If you want me to apolize I would Like you to tell me specifically what in my post demands a apology.
