Well, all us 'chess adicts!' have our own way. (And I recommend that you to,
find your own best way to interpet the vast amount of information avialable,
'out there'). One thing I recommend (other than this place), is the page,
http://hometown.aol.com/rjpawlak/ch_widow.html
I also highly recommend Robert Pawlak's book, 'CHESS SOFTWARE SOURCEBOOK' (see
his page for ordering information), Both his page & this book has a tremendous
amount of help information & explanations of the chess software availble.

For (the best!?), chess Books, you should check out Randy Bauer's page,
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/randybauer/ That should help you with
all aspects of finding the best (and most priceworthy), chess study material.

For Chess Sets and equipment, I recommend www.chessco.com/ And just keep your
eye out at large swiss chess tournaments. I still have my gorgious Indian
Rosewood set that I bought from a Goichberg tournament about 15 years ago for
$45 dollars. Bet its worth around $100 bucks now?!
