Go up one level in this thread

1. You should apologize for your profane and obscene response to a poster who
merely said that the moderator should accede to your wishes and remove your
account, and who said that he thought you were wasting his time. That certainly
is not something you should have responded to with a filthy tirade.

2. You say that your post was clear because 3 or 4 people responded to it in the
way you wanted. I say it was unclear because dozens responded to it in a similar
outraged way. You used the word "shared" when you meant 'sold", you used the
word 'criminal' to categorize those who you were attacking. It was (at best)
unclear.

3. Your post had a poor choice of titles, poor use of words, and a seemingly
belligerent attitude. You provoked the flamse, the act horrified when they come.
You screwed up. Pure and simple. Perhaps the people attacking you may have been
incorrect. I don't. Some of them certainly were. But the reason they were
attacking you was because of something that you posted. Had you posted it
differently, you would not have been attacked. So the responses were in response
to an ill-considered posting of yours.

As I said, every response you make in this thread diminishes your stature here.
Not clearly apologizing for your obscene outburst adds to that diminishment. If
you wish to keep digging your grave, that is fine. But I hope that you are aware
that that is what you are doing. I am not calling you a fool, but this brings to
mind the words of (I believe) Mark Twain: "It is better to remain silent and be
thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."
