Wow Mr. Mikala ;I'm impressed at all the work you have done!Keep up the
good work! Maybe SSDF will pay you someday.:-)
I was just wondering is there a "truth " to chess?Isn't there just ONE best
move in any position? Maybe there are a lot of good(great) moves that can be
played in any one position but there is ONLY one best move! Doesn't that make
sense? OK WHAT AM I GETTING AT!?
I was looking at your tournament results and noted that Fritz 6 won but
that YOU like Mchess pro the most.Ok it plays great attacking chess but
maybe, just maybe,it is not making the best move (afterall F6 must be making the
better moves since it won your tournament.)
Also I have noticed using F5 that it seems like , after analyzing a position
using F5, that an opponent loses a a game through a bad move than win it with a
good move. F5 seems to have a counter for everything. It seems that the game ,if
played well by both participants , should end in a draw everytime(like
tic, tac, toe) as long as they make the BEST moves in the position.
I play tournament chess with a fide rating of about 2100 (not very strong)but
I am always looking for the best move in any position.Looking forward to your
comments. Thanks
Also I almost forgot to ask What program does the best/in depth analysis working
from the end of a game to the beginning? I was impartial to Fritz 5 until it
failed miserably in a position I obtained! It contradicts itself.Even a person
at chessbase couldn't really explain why it overlooked my position even when the
"tide was turning" in my favor in a real in depth analysis . Once again comments
will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
