g3 is very slow compared to PII anyway.

If i compare my sisters g3 (she's graphical designer)
with a PII at the same speed equipped with a viper 32mb AGP
card, then the g3 is from before the previous worldwar.

Seemingly looking at the specs then the CPU's: g3 and g4 are ok,
but the speed of the caches,
and most important: the price of the system and the lack of
cheap dual computers, that's really pathetic!

For a single cpu g4 you can buy how many dual celeron 366 clocked to 550?

However this discussion is all very stupid and based upon very little
speedcomparisions (i have no idea how fast DIEP is at the g3/g4),
the most important question to you is:
What programs do you plan to run on a G4?

I can't remember a single program running on the mac except Hiarcs
perhaps.

Greetings,
Vincent
