Yes, it is free to play on MPlayer, assuming you have purchased CM7000, although you will need to create a new MPlayer account the first time you go there. The development team tells me that they are soon going to be releasing a free downloadable "MPlayer Only" demo version of CM7000, which will also allow you to play for free on MPlayer. The differences between this demo and the full CM7000 are: 1) Tere will be a smaller subset of the boards and pieces (to keep the download size small) 2) No rated play 3) No buddies Other than that, it will be just like playing the "full" version. jm
