I know someone who uses this and I think it cost him a few >g's. there are two choices: 1. a flat-panel that sits on top of a normal transparancy-type overhead projector. XGA resolutions cost around 3000 bucks (1024 x 768). 2. a shoebox-sized gadget with the LCD and projector light source in one small device. These go for about 6000 bucks at XGA resolutions. In either case, brightness is a critical issue, with more lumens == more bucks. You need a _bright_ light source unless you are working in a dark room. I use type 2 above all the time in my classes... works well...
