Thanks John,
This post clarifies a lot.
So, now I await news on CM8k, and possibly the troubles with CM7k will lead to a
"less troubled" CM8k.

This is good, many people respect & like the King (& what a great name), and
what we want is a newer version.  Having to wait a few years is not so bad, it
allows time for real improvements.
