Not really, you only tell it what move to make while your opponent is thinking. The interface doesn't send a move to the server while its still your opponents move. > Provided that your move is still legal after > your opponent has moved, it will be made for you, instantly. Is it more ethnical to let your opponent win on time in a completely won position (which does happen often ?) Is it more ethnical do let a chess game be decidet on who has the fastest mouse and the best reflexes? I prefer premove. Because premove requires some thought (when to premove, balancing the risk and the time-gain). And there is _nothing_ in all I$$ and Fics help files about this being cheating. If you don't like to premove but still don't like to loose on time in lightning (I$$ calls this "bullet") try a faster interface with soft premove (which lets you drag a piece over the destination square but not drop it before your opp has moved) like CClient or others. > It works with Winboard, and maybe a few other interfaces, but not > ICC's Blitzin, or so I'm told. Its a modified winboard. And works on its own. Regards, Tec--
