I have done some testing with Fritz/Hiarcs in combination. My test indicate
that when using the Fritz/Hiarcs combo I get about 20-30 points increase at
blitz over Fritz alone. I have not done any testing at 40/2. I let Fritz play
the Opening/Tactical moves and Hiarcs plays the Positional/endgame moves. I
admit I have not watched closely what happens at the "Switching points" but I
can tell you that quite often the switch is made several times in a game.
Meaning the GUI switches from Fritz to Hiarcs and back to Fritz and back to
Hiarcs again. I'm sure it's not a perfect system but it is interesting.
